Gulam R. Zade

Gulam Zade is the newest attorney at GMY Law. After graduating from Western Kentucky University, he worked as a clerk in the GMY offices while attending Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. When put to work on a project involving a $2 million embezzlement, he displayed extraordinary investigative skills. The IRS Criminal Investigation Division was so impressed with his work it tried to recruit him as an agent.
Gulam passed the Tennessee Bar and was admitted to practice in October, 2011. He is looking forward to using both his law degree and his money-chasing talent to expand the firm's consumer bankruptcy practice and increase its debtor, creditor and receivership services.
Born in Russia, Gulam moved to Nashville at age seven. He has traveled extensively and is fluent in Russian and other Eastern European languages. Gulam and his fiancée, Kristen Tanner, plan to wed in the spring of 2012.
